Hi! My name is Dylan Schuman and I am a jazz musician in the local Towson/Baltimore area. I was wondering if your establishment has ever thought about hosting live music. I have been part of two successful residencies at restaurants. I was the leader of a trio who played every week at New York Pizza Company and Italian Bistro (formerly in Owing Mills) for six months. I also performed quite frequently with a group that played twice a month at the coffee shop Java Mamas in Reisterstown for around three years. From experience I know that live music is exciting and different which attracts new customers and keeps them there longer. Through both residencies we also created a loyal customer base that would consistently show up to watch and eat each week. If you have any interest please let me know. Thanks for your time!
All the Best,
Thanks for writing.
Perhaps when the weather is warm and
patio is open.. (after today, hope it will be soon!)
I ended up in your restaurant by chance this past Wednesday when things were quite slow. In addition to the lovely meal, Donna, you took the trouble to direct me to the Ivy bookstore and to check that it was still open.
I just wanted to say that I’m having trouble knowing which thing I appreciated more — the meal or the bookstore. Both were absolutely exactly what I wanted/needed. I’m not up your way very often, but I will undoubtedly make time for both your food and the Ivy next time I’m there. I’m only sorry I’m not close enough to be a regular.
